MERI College – Theatre Club

“WUTHERING HEIGHTS” – Theater group of MERI running MBA, MCA, PGDM and B.Tech courses, is an artistic and happening place to be at. As we all know that Art is a manifestation of inner self and the “Wuthering Heights” theater club group has been proving that quality worthily since last three years under the aegis of Dr. Archana Sehgal. Students of all courses like MBA, MCA, PGDM and B.tech relate equally & connect warmly to this club theater group. a number of pays like:

-Peesha Vapis (an adaption of “Refund’)

-Devi bani Damini (Nukkad Naatak)

-Na Aana is Des Laado (Nukkad Naatak)

-Nari Shakti (Nukkad Naatak)

have been directed by the theater head for various events and occasions of MERI. “Peesha Vapis” & “Devi Bani Damini” stood at second position at the Inter college theater competition held at ‘La- Kermesse –  Annual Fest of MERI,2014’. “Na Aana Is Des Laado” stood at Ist position at the same fest of MERI in 2015. the play “Nari Shakti” was successfully able to create a mark in the seminar held for crime against Women at MERI in 2015. All the plays are a part of you tube hub.

Soft skills, Workshops, Mock Interviews  and  Group Discussions

 Various workshops have been organized by the soft skills’ department of MERI, Janak Puri under the guidance of Dr. Archana Sehgal for MBA, MCA, PGDM & B.Tech students.

  • A highly enriching workshop of seven days on “The Art of being Employable” was organized in 2014 by the Soft Skill department for the better future and skills enhancement of the students from all courses of MERI.
  • A full day workshop on ” Corporate Skills” by “Confluence Energies” was also held to abreast the students of various courses, required to join the corporate world.

MERI emphasises on imparting the practical knowledge, besides the educational curriculum to its students, so that they get laurels not only to themselves but to  their institute as well.
