MERI Organized a Visit to Doordarshan for JMC Students

New Delhi, February 7 2023, Tuesday. Management Education and Research Institute organized a visit to Doordarshan for students pursuing JMC along with their faculty. The visit was organized to provide industrial exposure to the students. The programme that students visited was named as “DD Dialogue #AmritKaalBudget‘ as the name suggests the Budget of 2023-2024 was discussed in this programme. The discussion is divided into four sessions. With every panel a different aspect of the budget 2023-2024 was discussed, each panel was specialized in some or the other aspect.

The first panel was of industry experts Manish Shah, Animesh Saxena, Dilip Chenoy, Saurabh Sanyal and Vinayak Chatterjee and the interviewer was Ajay Mishra, second panel contained Meenakshi Lekhi current minister for External Affairs and culture of India and the interviewer was Ashok Srivastava after these 2 parts of the programme a break of around 1 hour was given and a buffet were arranged in the meantime, the third panel were the experts of taxation V. Rama Mathew, Ved Jain and Prateek Jain and the interviewer was Ajay Mishra at last the fourth panel was of agricultural experts like Professor Nupur Tiwari, Dr. SK Malhotra and Deepshika Sakarwal and the interviewer was Mamta Chopra. Interaction with audience in form of questions took place in all four parts but a special interaction took place in the fourth part which was with Krishna Yadav owner of a business of pickle, she sells 152 varieties of pickles, she spoke about her journey which was full of ups and downs. Almost everything was flawless but the screens got blank a few times in between the shoot and the technical team managed it well.  The sound and camera crew were also very professional in their work.

Overall it was a great experience and a golden opportunity for students of the Management Education and Research Institute.
