In alignment with National Plan of ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ MERI responded actively to the mission and participated with enthusiasm this year also. Prof.A.K Agrawal Dean MERI administered an oath in this regard to the members of management, faculty, staff and students. CSR Aaghaz club mentors, faculty members, volunteers along with other student participants did cleaning of the campus and the surrounding areas in accordance with the 5S model of quality by sorting the resources, shining( cleaning them), systemizing( tagging), standardizing (fixing their places) and finally promised to sustain this model beyond this they also ensured the safety and security of the campus by checking the expiry dates of fire extinguishers, identifying areas with open and loose wires etc. . Then administered this oath among different banks, shopkeepers etc in nearby area.
