BLOOD DONATION CAMP
GIVE BLOOD GIVE LIFE
A blood donation camp was organized by MANAGEMENT EDUCATION & RESEARCH INSTITUTE(MERI) ,CSR Club Aaghaz on 30th January 2017. A team of 12 doctors and nurses of AIIMS came for collection of blood . The event started with GaneshVandana ,Poem recitation and a small skit by students of MERI. Prof. Lalit Aggarwal Vice President MERI enlightened the students with his words. Sh. S.K. Aggarwal, Chief Finance Officer MERI, Prof. A.K Agarwal Dean MERI, Prof S.K. Goel. Prof Sangeeta Gupta and faculty members were also present at the occasion.
The activity of blood donation was started by faculty of MERI &volunteers of MERI CSR Aaghaz thereafter other donors joined the event. There was an overwhelming response from students and other donors a total of 91 units were collected in the camp. Some of the donors who could not donate this time were assured for donation in the next camp. A Certificate of appreciation, donation card, refreshment was given to each donor as a token of gratitude
