Ms. Ananya Saroha

Ms. Ananya Saroha is an accomplished academic with a robust background in energy, food, and water regulation. She has a strong educational foundation, with a B.Sc. LL.B. (Hons) from Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar, an M. Sc. in Regulatory Governance from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai and an LL.M. in Criminal Law from Baba Mastnath University, Rohtak. She is an advocate registered with the District Court, Rohtak, and has qualified the University Grants Commission’s National Eligibility Test.

She has worked with the think tank C-CIER CUTS International, Jaipur, on projects related to the Socio-Economic Impact of Judicial Decisions, Electronic Vehicles and Competition in India. She has also been mentored by Dr. Ashok Pendse and Dr. Chandrashekhar Joglekar in nuances of social science research, creating a novel Scale for Assessment of Risk Communication in Pesticide Advertisement and doing a Regulatory Impact Assessment of Single-use Plastic Ban in Mumbai.  

She has a proven track record of excellence in research, from her paper publications in reputed International Conferences and Peer-Reviewed Journals in the areas of Energy and Water Regulation, International Law of the Seas etc. She has a keen interest in teaching Family Law, Environmental Law and Jurisprudence.
