MERI-CET feels honoured to inform you that, "Trianga Utsav " will be celebrated on January 22, 2017 at auditorium hall on 1:00 p.m in association with Bhartiya Vikas Parishad and Pragya High School. This celebration is a tribute to remember that day when India's constitution came into force on January 26, 1950 completing the country's transition toward becoming an independent republic.
A Lohri Celebration will be organized on January 13, 2017 at 2:30p.m in College Campus. It is adviced to all the students to reach at ground on time to make the value of their cultural heritage.
A National Youth Project Camp is being scheduled on January 12, 2017 at auditorium hall on 11:00 a.m in MERI-CET Campus.The chief guest will be Dr. S.N. Subbarao, Gandhian Philospher. It is mandatory for all the students to make their presence in this camp.
A Deepawali Utsav will be organized on 28th Oct.,2016 at 10:00a.m in College Campus.This utsav involves many activities like Diya Decoration, Rangoli, Stalls, Quiz etc. Interested students can give their name’s to their respective faculty coordinators upto 20th Oct.2016 at 12:30 p.m.

Lamhe’17, the welcome party for the first year students of B.Tech and BBA was organized by their immediate seniors, the second year students of B.Tech and BBA on 18 September 2017 at Auditorium of MERI-CET. This day is marked as induction and integration of the new entrants in the MERI family. The Fresher’s Party of B.Tech& BBA student was held for synergizing their efforts towards organizing and performing skills. Several group dances, solo dance, mimicry and singing performances really made the new entrants enjoy to the fullest. After stupendous performance in five highly competitive rounds of Ramp Walk, Individual Performance, on the spot task, Dialog round and a Question & Answer session, the following B.Tech 1st year students were selected by a panel of judges (Dr.SachinSuryan, Dr.Swaran Singh, Dr.Umesh Gupta). The former Mr.& Ms. Fresher’stransferred their Titles to the following selected students - Mr. Fresher: Ayush Mathpal,B.Tech(CSE) Ms. Fresher: Anushka Mangla,B.B.A Mr. Runner Up: Avishek,B.Tech(CE) Ms. Runner Up: Dhriti Saluja,B.Tech(CSE) Dr. R.C Goyal, Director MERI-CET, in his address, highly appreciated the efforts put in by the students. He exhorted the new students to imbibe the rich tradition and culture of MERI-CET as well as to contribute towards its achievement of excellence in all sphere of activities. Dr. Goyal highlighted major contributions of Sir MV that includes harnessing rainwater resources in India, automatic weir water floodgates installed in 1903 at the Khadakwasla Reservoir, Pune, construction of Krishna Raja Sagara dam in Mysore, Then all HOD’s gavemessages to students on the occasion of Engineer’s day. Two days Inter College Annual Techno Cultural Fest 2017 was successfully organized by MERI CET, Sampla on 24th -25th March, 2017. Polytechnic College, Sampla were invited as the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honor for the Opening Ceremony of Inter College Annual Techno Cultural Fest 2017. "Holi Celebration " was celebrated on March 11, 2017 at 2:00p.m in MERI-CET Campus along with students and faculties. Students celebrated Holi by smearing each other with colored powder. The atomosphere becomes vibrant, exciting and lots of fun.
A "Tiranga Utsav" was celebrated at MERI-CET Campus in association with Bhartiya Vikas Parishad and Pragya High School with a lot of exuberance and fanfare on January 22, 2017 at 1:00p.m. The guest of honour were Mr. Suresh Kumar Sharma, Retired I.G., Punjab, Mr. Ashok Bakshi, DCP, Gurgaon, Mr. Tarun Kumar Pawaria, Sub-Divisional Officer, Sampla..This celebration is a tribute to remember that day when India's constitution came into force on January 26, 1950 and Subhash Chander Bose Jayanti. The celebration was started from flag hoisting alongwith all dignitories. After Lamplightening, awards were given to the families of fallen in defence. Then, the function moves to its next step. Many cultural programs like songs, dance, play on petriotism were performed by the students of different schools. The mood on the campus was upbeat and the students were totally absorbed in the environment of petriotism.
A Lohri was celebrated at MERI-CET Campus with a lot of exuberance and fanfare on January 13, 2017. The mood on the campus was upbeat and the students were totally absorbed in the festive spirit of Lohri. The function started with speeches in English and Punjabi highlighting the importance of the festival of Lohri, which ushers in the cheerful spring season bidding adieu to the dull winter. The students and teachers sang songs immersed in rich cultural folklore of Punjab. Dr.RC Goyal, Director, MERI-CET, greeted the students and encouraged them to value of their cultural heritage.
A "Yuva Diwas" was celebrated with the great joy and enthusiasm at MERI-CET Campus on January 12, 2017 on 11:00a.m in association with Pragya High School to commemorate the birthday of Swami Vivekananda, maker of the modern India. The chief guest was Dr. S.N Subbarao, Gandhian Philospher. He said, the wealth and honour of the nation is Youth. He sang many songs like " Badha chalo Nojawan".By his presence, the mood on the campus was upbeat and the students were totally absorbed in the spirit of Yangisthan. Dr. RC Goyal, Director, MERI-CET, in his speech, inspire all the youths of MERI-CET towards the philosophy of Swami Vivekananda and his ideals. He told, Youth play an important role in making better future of the country through the way of life and ideas of the Swami Vivekananda.
A Deepawali Utsav was celebrated by MERI-CET on 28th October 2016, for commemorating the return from exile of the hero of the Ramayana, Lord Ram. The Utsav was inaugurated by Chief guest Prof.Lalit Aggrawal ,Vice President, MERI-CET, Dr.RC Goyal ,Director, MERI-CET, Dr.S.P Singh ,Director, MERI-LPI, Dr.Manju Singh, Registrar, MERI-CET ,Mr.Puneet Bansal,Principal,Pragya School through Lamp Lightening. This Utsav involves many activities like Rangoli, Diya Decoration, Quiz, Talent Hunt ,Stalls that attract the attention of students and faculty members.
