The faculty members and staff of MERI are known for their out-of-the-box teaching and pedagogy methods. One such programme Regular Industrial Visit focuses on preparing the participants to learn about the day-to-day working of a particular industry and understand its operational issues. The programmes also helps to keep the students abreast with the current management practices followed by such organizations and acquire traits that the industry demands of them. The benefits of this programmes are multifold. Not only are the students initiated into the industrial world as managers but are also made aware of the practical limitations posed by real-life situations.
We at MERI have contacts with various reputed industries, which help our students learn cross cultural management skills along with acquiring the basic insight about real-time business environment. With first hand and practical information about the key functioning of various industries, students become more efficient and competent in their respective field of work.
Civil Engineering Department has organized an industrial visit on 03/11/2023 at CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research)-CRRI (Central Road Research Institute), GOVERNMENT OF INDIA, Delhi - Mathura Road, New Delhi. CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research)-CRRI (Central Road Research Institute) is a premier Government laboratory of national importance established in 1952. It is a constituent of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).
70+ students from MERI College of Engineering and Technology, faculty coordinators Mr. Sandeep Chhillar and Ms. Archana Dahiya, Sh. Amit Pal (Plant Head, Haier-Noida), Ms. Satakshi Gupta, Mr. Manish Singh.
On the 15th of March 2024, a group of 117 students from Meri College of Engineering and Technology embarked on a remarkable educational journey to CSIR-IGIB. This visit was a gateway for students to delve into the captivating realm of data science and big data analytics within the context of biological research.
