Dr. S. K. Pandey is an Associate Professor in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at MERI College, Janakpuri. He holds qualifications in BA (JMC), M.A., MJMC, and Ph.D.  Dr. SK Pandey, a senior journalist and academician, is currently serving as the Head of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at MERI College, affiliated with GGSIP University, Delhi. With 18 years of experience at Hindustan Editorial (Hindustan Times Group) and 15 years in media education, he brings a wealth of industry and academic expertise.
Dr. Pandey is a voice-over artist and scriptwriter, was associated with Doordarshan and All India Radio as casual artist. A bi-lingual media trainer and public speaker, he trained students to cover stories from rural areas. A prolific writer, Dr. Pandey has authored three books, including one on the history of 25 villages (7 in Delhi and 18 in Haryana). He translated Deepak Chopra’s ‘The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success’ from English to Hindi. His journalism career includes over 1,000 published articles in newspapers and magazines. He has interviewed notable figures such as Shiv Khera, Namvar Singh, Rajendra Yadav, Ashok Vajpayee, Surendra Sharma, Ashok Chakradhar, and SN Subbarao.
Dr. Pandey has published 13 research papers, presented 17 papers, and attended 29 workshops/conferences, solidifying his reputation as a distinguished media professional and educator.
